Ashit Ghelani
Founder & Producer

Hopscotching into the world of advertising, Ashit started off as a production assistant before moving into an advertising agency. Racking up over three years of experience as an agency producer at contract advertising, Ashit decided to switch gears to plunge right into the eye of the storm- film making. Having worked as a senior executive producer at Ramesh Deo Production (RDP) for over four years, his guiding ambition was to cut through the challenging projects and mammoth ad filmmaking experiences to eventually set up his own shop. And so, 2011 saw the birth of Boot Polissh Films.

As Founder and Producer of Boot Polissh Productions, Ashit continued to create powerful experiential media bringing forth his unique perspective and more importantly, persona to every work that he touches. His work has won him awards & nominations at D&AD, The One Show & Abby for the famous Nike 'Cricket' tvc for RDP, and another Silver Abby for the National Geographic Inglorious Bitches campaign. The Coca Crazy For Happiness music track produced by Boot Polissh Films was one of the final contenders in the Golden Awards of Montreux, 2013. Spanning two decades of experience in the field, Ashit as an independent producer, is committed to the idea of uncompromising visions that challenge conventional paradigms.

Kanwal Preet "Candy"
Executive Producer

Kanwal Preet, fondly called Candy, started her advertising journey through sheer chance about 15 years ago, when she arrived on an Ad Film set as a visitor but left as an AD. She then went on to rise among the ranks during the heydays of footcandles films (Early Man Film), going from AD to Associate Producer. Having worked through sleepless nights, endless schedules, ruthless weather and thankless terrain, Candy knew every department of production like the back of her hand by the time she turned Producer. She then went on to produce commercials at various reputed production houses for several years, before joining Boot Polissh films in 2019.

Through all the madness and chaos that is production, Candy keeps it all tied together, calm & collected, with a smile to spare.
